"These strawberry fields with daffodils come so sweet..."

Have been hanging out at Snakeweed Acoustic Labs these past weeks since I'm fucken free and all. I've just popped down to take a listen to Zero Sequence's mixing sessions and crash B-Quartet's recording sessions.

Zero Sequence are done recording and have started to mix. Which is really fast as they started very early this year. I've heard some of the tracks as Simon has posted them on their MySpace page. Really great stuff. There are certain ideas which the band has referenced from classic rock acts like Queen and Pink Floyd. Just check out 'Wreckage' and 'Transcendence'. Bastards! I always hate it when my friends do better than me, especially when it comes to ripping other people off. Heh.

Just finished recording last week, B-Quartet is going to start mixing soon as well. I've an unmixed and unmastered version with me. It sounds astounding. I think they've outdone themselves this time. Some of the songs sound amazing with all the additional layers they've added.

This is going to be a busy 2nd half of 2007 for us.
